Good rain often seems to be followed by good mornings and this is no exception.
Glorious sunshine with the now familiar 20mph wind as we set off from Berneray to Leverburgh. We plan to cycle the Golden Road to Tarbert, stopping off at the various art and craft coffee shops on the way.
The bikes are secured on deck, along with many others from an organised mountain bike tour.
The mountain bikers are having a bit of team talk.
It all sounds very enjoyable, they had a 17 mile ride up the South Uist beach yesterday in the following wind.
